UNIV-16kWh (WP) – free-standing LiFePO₄ storage with IP65

The UNIV-16kWh (WP) from Easyway Energy is a free-standing battery storage system with lithium iron phosphate cells (LiFePO₄): 16.08 kWh total energy, 15.11 kWh usable energy, 51.2 V nominal voltage and 314 Ah nominal capacity. The housing achieves protection rating IP65 – dust-tight and protected against water jets according to the IP code.

Features according to the Easyway specification

• Performance: recommended charge/discharge current 157 A / 157 A, max. 157 A charge and 200 A discharge; recommended depth of discharge 90 %.
• Safety: integrated aerosol fire extinguisher; certified to UN38.3, MSDS, IEC 62619, CE-EMC and CE-RED.
• Operation & communication: app + Wi-Fi, communication with the inverter via CAN / RS485.
• Scalable: up to 20 units in parallel.
• Long-lasting: at least 8,000 cycles (test conditions: 0.2C charge/discharge, 25 °C, 90 % DOD, 70 % EOL).
• Operation: charging 0 – 55 °C (optional −20 – 55 °C), discharging −20 – 55 °C, natural cooling, installation altitude up to 2,000 m.

Compatible inverters

According to the Easyway specification, the UNIV-16kWh (WP) is compatible with inverters from Solis, Growatt, GoodWe, Pylontech, SMA, LuxpowerTek, Deye and others. We are happy to confirm which combination suits your project.

WP or (II)?

The UNIV-16kWh is also available as variant UNIV-16kWh (II). Both have 16.08 kWh total energy and external dimensions of 525 × 720 × 245 mm. The WP variant offers protection rating IP65, app + Wi-Fi and an integrated aerosol fire extinguisher and weighs 115 kg; variant (II) has protection rating IP20 (indoor), touchscreen and Bluetooth and weighs 117 kg.
